Maya fanfic part 8 🫶

As soon as the halftime whilst blew maya ran down the tunnel to find you.

Slowly you regained consciousness wincing at the bright light that was shining in your eyes.

The first thing you felt was a hand holding yours and you saw Maya’s face filled with worry.

“Y/n?”. She said nervously.

“Maya”, You replied, with a small smile at the sound of her voice.

Her name was then called by her teammates as the second half was about to start.

“I’ll speak to you soon”.

“Okay”, you said, sadly watching her leave the room.

- Full time -

The game ended 4-0.

Maya’s face appeared behind the door with a smile.

“How are you?”. She asked, placing a hand on your knee.

“I feel better now”. You replied with a weak smile.

The doctor then came over to you.

“These are some of the things you should do with a concussion, I read this list to every patient suffering the same injury”.

“Get plenty of sleep at night, and rest during the day.

Avoid activities such as contact or recreational sport, football in your case.

Don’t drink alcohol.

Only take prescribed drugs.

Avoid any activities that are physically demanding such as working out, housecleaning, sex.”

At the last word you and Maya both looked at each other at the same time.

Her face turned red as she was trying not to laugh, a smile formed on your face as you were trying not to laugh at her.

“Is that okay with you?”, The doctor repeated for the second time.

“Y-yes that should be fine”, You said, trying to make your face more serious.

“Good, your next check up is in a few days, you should get an email”.

“Okay thank you”, You replied, looking up at him, in the corner of your eye you could also see Maya attempting to compose herself.

“I’ll leave you two alone then, see you later”.

“Bye”.

“Bye, thank you”. Maya said.

He gave Maya a weird look as he left.

“How do you feel about that list?”. You asked.

“I think it’s pretty reasonable”, Maya replied, giggling.

“You sure?”. You laughed.

“Yes whatever’s best for you”, She said, bending down kissing your head.

“I think it’s best if you have a shower”, You joked.

“Ughh, I just played a full 90 minutes worrying about you, thank you very much”.

“Aww how sweet”.

“Forget it”, She said, jokingly walking away.

“Wait, help me up”. You replied, reaching out an arm to her.

“Fine”.

She helped you up and then brought you into a hug, her dirty shirt then rubbing against you.

“Ewww”, You joked, pulling away from her.

“I think we both need a shower”, she giggled.

- A few hours later -

You were now resting in Maya’s bed.

“Are you hungry?”, Maya asked, turning to you.

“Yes I am a bit”.

“I’ll look what we have downstairs”.

“I would help you, but my doctor says I should rest”, You said dramatically holding your forehead.

Maya laughed at you.

“Don’t worry, it will taste better without you”.

“Mean”.

She giggled as she left the room.

- Half an hour later -

Maya came upstairs with a stir fry, Mocha also following.

“You are really treating me today”. You said sitting up, as she handed you the bowl.

“It’s not like I have a choice”. She joked.

“Wow, I’ll just go back to my apartment then”. You laughed.

“No, please stay”. She said with a smile.

“Fine, but only for the food…and Mocha”.

She laughed in response.

“Would you consider staying for a little longer?”. Maya said, more nervously.

“I guess i’ll have to in my condition”.

“More than that”.

“As in move in?”.

“I know you said you can’t afford it but…I can’t stay here much longer either”. She said messing with her food.

“Why?”, You asked.

“Y’know with…but if you don’t want to or can’t afford it it’s fine”. She said, quickly.

“No I understand sorry, I would love to live with you. I basically do now but…”.

“But, you can’t afford it”, Maya said, looking down.

You nodded your head.

“What if you just pay the same rent as you do now and i’ll pay the rest?”. She asked.

“I can’t do that, you’d be paying too much”.

“I don’t care, as long as i’m with you”.

You nodded your head.

“We can talk more about it when you feel better”. She said, reassuringly.

“Okay”, You said smiling, you felt bad as you felt like you didn’t give her the answer she wanted.

- A few hours later -

“Do you want to come on a walk with me and Mocha, it could clear your head a bit?”. Maya asked.

“Yes, sounds like a good idea”.

“Ok i’ll just be downstairs, come down when you’re ready”.

“Will do”.

Sitting up fully on the side of the bed, you felt the drugs the doctor prescribed you with start to wear off, but the next dose you could take was in an hour.

You sighed, softly rubbing your head hoping the feeling would die down soon.

Attempting to stand up after a few hours of lounging in Maya’s bed you felt slightly dizzy but not enough to fall over.

You made your way out her room and then downstairs holding on to the railing.

“You okay?”. Maya asked.

“Yes”, You replied, with a slightly forced smile.

“Here’s your coat”. She said, holding it out for you and wrapping it on you as you put your arms in.

“Thanks”.

Luckily the shoes you brought were uggs so you could easily slip them on your feet.

“Hopefully they don’t get too dirty”. Maya said.

“Yes, but they keep my feet warm”.

“That’s good, i think it’s like 5 degrees now”.

“Oh wow”.

“You up for it?”.

“Yeah, it will help with my recovery”.

Maya nodded her head.

You made your way outside and the cold hit you like a ton of bricks.

“We don’t have to be out for long”.

“Okay”. You replied, placing your hands in your pockets.

When you reached the park she let Mocha off lead and walked next to you.

The headache you developed just seemed to get worse and your body was freezing at this point.

“It’s getting dark so quickly now”. Maya stated, you were now half way around the park.

“I know right”. You replied, slightly shaking.

Maya watched her feet as she walked through a pile of leaves.

“Ahh”, You said out of physical discomfort, but not loud enough for Maya to hear.

“When we get back we could watch a film, if you want”. Maya asked, looking back at you, her facial expressions then quickly changed.

“Y/n, you alright?”, She said cupping her hands on your cheeks.

“Y-yeah”, You replied, keeping eye contact for less than a second.

“Please be honest with me”.

“My medication is just wearing off and i’m very cold”, You said quickly, then looked back at her.

“You should have told me sooner”, She replied, bringing you into a hug.

“Sorry”. You said, relaxing into her hug which brought some warmth.

“It’s okay, we’re nearly home…come on Mocha”, She called out.

She put Mocha on her lead and then wrapped an arm around you.

“We’ll be okay”. She said, rubbing your back.

By the time you were down her road, the pain was constant, her arm still wrapped around you tightly.

As soon as she opened the door she let you walk in first and you took your coat off, then she followed unclipping Mocha’s lead and quickly shutting the door.

The lights of her house were so bright compared to outside where it was almost pitch black, this made your vision worse and you felt light headed.

“Maya-“. You said before losing balance.

She quickly caught you before you hit the floor.

“Hey, it’s okay”, She said, worriedly holding you. Your body was still freezing.

“I’m fine, I just need to lay down”, You said closing your eyes.

“Do you want to lay on the couch?”, She asked, keeping a strong hold of you.

“Yeah”.

“I’m going to carry you, is that ok?”.

“Mhm”.

She picked you up with ease and settled you onto the couch where the lights were dimmer.

“I’ll get you your prescription”, She said, then ran up the stairs to get it from her room.

In no time she was by your side again also holding a glass of water.

“Can you sit up?”. She asked.

“Yeh”, You said moving up slowly.

You put the pill in your mouth and washed it down with water.

“Would you like some tea to warm you up?”. She asked.

“That would be nice thanks”.

But by the time she made it and brought it to you, sleep had already taken over you.

-A few hours later-

Slowly you opened your eyes, trying to take in your surroundings.

You noticed there was a blanket now over you and your ugg’s were beside the couch.

Slightly turning your head you saw Maya sitting on a chair looking at her phone whilst biting her nails. She only does this when she’s nervous.

“Y/n”, She said softly, looking over to you.

“Hi”, You replied, slowly sitting up.

“How are you feeling?”. She asked moving to the end of the couch.

“A lot better, thanks”. You replied, with a weak smile.

“Good”. A smile was now displayed across her face.

“What time is it?”.

“10pm”.

“I slept for a while”.

“Yes, that’s good”.

You nodded your head.

The next few days consisted of resting in Maya’s house and some appointments helping you to recover as quickly as possible.

It was estimated you’d be able to start training again in a week. Which meant you had to watch the girls and Maya take on Leicester from the TV.

“Good luck May”. You said, before she left for the king power, meaning she’d be gone for longer as it was an away game.

“Thanks, we’ll get this win for you”, She replied, zipping up her suitcase.

“Me and Mocha will miss you”.

“I’ll miss you too, remember if you need any help just call my Mum”.

“Will do”.

She made her way out of the room carrying her suitcase and walked down the stairs, you followed behind her.

Placing her suitcase at the door she turned back towards you.

“Don’t have too much fun without me”, She chuckled.

“We won’t”.

“Come here”, She said, bringing you into a hug.

You wrapped your arms around her tightly, not wanting to let go.

Pulling away, you placed your hands on her shoulders and brought her into a kiss.

She kissed you softly, but shortly pulled away.

“Don’t start because then I won’t want to stop”, She said, smiling at you.

“One more”, You replied, placing a hand on her cheek.

“Fine”, She smiled, pulling you into a kiss.

Your tongue ‘accidentally’ slipped into her mouth.

Her smile grew bigger as she should have resisted as she was going to be late, but that was impossible.

After a bit, she had to pull away.

“I actually need to go now”, She said, now breathless.

“Fine”, You sighed, but with a smile.

She then quickly walked into the living room saying one last goodbye to Mocha.

Walking back to her front door she held her suitcase.

“I love you”. She said.

“I love you too”. You replied, smiling.

She then unlocked her door and made her way to her car, placing her belongings in the boot.

You watched her drive down the road until she was out of sight, then shut the door and locked it.

“She’ll be back soon”. You said to mocha stroking her.

Maya was now sat on the 2 and a half hour coach ride to Leicester and constantly texting you.

“Does y/n want to join in with this card game?, the amount you’re speaking to her she may as well be here”. Ella joked.

“Sorry…sorry”. Maya replied, picking her cards back up slightly blushing.

All Maya could think about was how you were, especially because you haven’t been apart for so long recently.

“How is she doing?, we haven’t seen her since it happened”. Ella said.

“She’s recovering well, so hopefully she’ll be back next week”. Maya replied.

“Oh good, that means we won’t have put up with you anymore”.

“Very funny”. She laughed.

You were sat on the couch with Mocha after just coming from a walk, and ready for the game at 3pm.

The game was quite scrappy both teams having similar chances but in the 33rd minute Nikita managed to get her goal.

It ended 1-0 not the best performance by the team but they pulled through, your absence could have made a difference.

‘well done on the win, can’t wait to see you later xx’ You text.

‘Thanks, missed you xx’ - Maya replied.

‘What time will you be home?’

‘Probably 8, it could be a long drive’

As soon as you were about to leave the house, you heard your phone ring.

You put Mocha’s lead down and answered, wondering who it could be.

It was her.

“Hi y/n”.

“What do you want?”, You asked her neighbour.

“I want you to stay away from Maya”.

“Not going to happen”.

“She doesn’t love you”.

“Yes, she does. leave her alone”. You replied and ended the call.

You understood why Maya wanted to leave this house.

Picking up Mocha’s lead, you put the key in the door, but your phone rang again.

Sighing you decided to just ignore it switching it on silent and walked out the house.

- 30mins later -

Walking down the road to Maya’s house you saw her in the window again but you just walked straight back into her house not even looking remotely over.

You fed Mocha and then put on a Netflix series.

- A few hours later -

Out of nowhere you heard a car speeding down the road, you thought nothing of it as it was only 7:20 and Maya wasn’t supposed to be here for another 40 minutes.

Until you heard a loud knock on your door.

You got up and paused the Tv and walked to the door. Saying you were nervous was an understatement.

Slowly you opened the door and there she was. Maya.

“Oh my God, you’re alright”. She said practically running at you and bringing you into a hug.

“Yes, why?”. You queried.

“I was trying to call you, but it just went straight to Voicemail”. She replied, sighing with relief.

Turning around you found your phone on the cabinet in the corridor where you must have accidentally left it.

10 missed calls.

“I’m so sorry May, my phone was on silent”.

“It’s okay, I was just worried something could have happened and there would be no one there to help you”.

“No i’m okay, I just didn’t hear your calls”.

“Why was your phone on silent?”. She asked, to be fair it never usually is.

“Oh um, I just kept on getting calls”, You said, avoiding eye contact.

“Who from?”.

You didn’t say anything.

“Who from?”. She repeated.

“Your neighbour”. You said quietly.

Anger was then all over her face.

Turning around she quickly walked towards the door breathing out a deep sigh.

“Maya don’t”, You said, trying to stop her.

But she was too strong for you.

You tried another attempt at holding her back on the course to her neighbours house, but this time she resisted and pushed you away more harshly due to the built up anger and frustration.

However she soon realised what she had done.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t meant to-“.

“Doesn’t matter”, You replied shaking your head, walking back inside Maya’s house.

Maya stood still and placed her hands on her knees, taking a deep breath trying to weigh up who to go after.

5. favorite form of potato?

I have never been the biggest potato person, I thought I hated them as a kid but I have realized in the last years I do like potatoes just not a ton. Anyways I enjoy baked chips, crispy shoestring fries (If fries ain’t crispy I don’t want them), my partner makes yummy homemade fries too >w< but my fave is prolly sweet potato, including sweet potato fries and also sweet potatoes baked with brown sugar, that shit is heavenly -w-

7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?

ALL OF THEM!! I adore water dwelling creatures so much and have always had a special interest in marine biology! But I, especially at our zoo, love seeing the penguins (they’re so interactive and love to play with you by the glass) n also sharks n stuff, but yeah I love them all <3

8. do you change into specific clothes for the house when you get home?

I always change into pajamas right away if we have no other plans to go out! Lounging around in normal clothes feels uncomfortable to me, pajamas feel so free and safe -w-

Lots of things as you said!! x3 I’m a very nostalgic person!! My fave plushie I own is a bunny named Mocha and I also have lots of games I’ve owned since I was a kid and a childhood ps2 I cherish, the old copy of KH1 I have for it, I dunno I have so much XD I also have a collection of pony figures from mlp g4 that I love, and I still have and wear this shirt I got in hot topic when I was 12 ⬇️

Hate it! Ew! Disgusting! I’m sorry for me personally it’s the equivalent of eating toothpaste on chocolate and I’m just not into it x3

Beauty and the Beast!!! I also love Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and Mulan for many reasons hehe. I love Disney history, art and such so the older movies are my cup of tea x3

I do!! You know this hehe but it’s an animal crossing one with Mabel, Sabel and Label all over it :3 water bottles I tend to get attached to and this one my mom gave me after my other one broke earlier this year. I try my best to take care of my bottle cause they’re important to me 💖

Not really a lot, I do occasionally wear this sunflower bracelet that matches with Luma’s 🌻 and I have a necklace also from them that is a rose one and I love both of those! Otherwise I don’t really wear jewelry!

It depends XD I mostly use USA English cause I am from the usa, but on the other hand I type lots of words with spelling that is not typical usa spelling such as colour and defence. Some terminology I use out loud too but not a lot :3

Fishing for the moon in the sea at night

Just finished the game, it was pretty fun. 

Ok first why does this game has 3 names? Fishing for the moon in the sea at night / Towelket one more time 0 / Yorunoumi2

I have wanted to play this one for a long time, I have said it a couple of times before but TK4 is my favorite TK game (maybe one day I will explain why in detail) so a “remake” immediately caught my attention. In the end the game was completely different from what I expected it to be. While it borrows some concepts and story beats from TK4 it really is its own thing.

This game look so pretty. One of my favorite things about the series is watching how the art progresses in each game. I absolutely love how the world of the inn looks. White, black, red and blue look so nice together, and thanks to the border it’s like reading a story book. 

Also the sprites look nice, it’s the same style from 5 so I have no complains... ok maybe I have one complain. Mocha’s sprite. I’m sorry but the sprite from 4 is still the better looking one. Oh also Buritoba and Sekken-bako got new sprites and now they actually look like TK characters. It bothered me a little how normal their sprites did look in 4. They were literally just girl#1 and girl#2.

I almost forgot to talk about my favorite sprite, that’s right Nekojita’s(?). This weird fusion of Warawau and Nekojita that came out of nowhere. I love it, it’s adorable. Their palettes are pretty similar so no surprise why it works so well.

Music was good as always, I could listen to Furikusuku’s mansion theme for hours.

About the gameplay, almost no battles this time around. There are a couple of mandatory fights, but you are basicaly guaranted to win. I think it’s alright, battles have always been one of the weaker points of the series, and this game clearly wants to focus on the story. I hope they return in the next games though.

This game is pretty unique in the sense that you need to play it multiple times to actually understand the story. It has a “route system” where you can date 1 of 11 characters and depending on who you dated you get a different ending. Most endings are pretty much the same, but some are essential to understand what’s going on. On my first playthrough I went for Koucha and after beating the game I was so confused that I blamed the MTL, but no, it turns out a lot of concepts and lore are in the other routes. Even the Koucha route splits! And did you know some dialogue can change based on the gender you choose? So save a lot if you play it. I ended up using all 15 slots. 

And this brings me to my first complaint. I think the route system ended up hurting the story overall. One of the things that I really did like from 4 is the amount of time you get to spend with Mocha and Koucha, we get to see how their relationship evolves, them interacting with others characters or just fooling around, by the end of the game you know them pretty well and you care if something happens to them. In this game you spend very little time with the character you choose, so the more emotional parts didn’t really do a lot for me. I understand that asking Kanao to write that much dialogue for 11 characters is just unrealistic so I wish we had less routes so the other routes could have more dialogue.

Trying to piece the story together was pretty fun. I understand “The true purpose of the inn”, “The story of Mocha and Furikusuku” and “The sins of the Inkeepers”, but I’m still confused about concepts like the Tokage and Uikechuke transformation. You get 2 examples for the Tokage one, but almost no info for the Uikechuke transformation.

This game introduces Smile DK, I think she’s okay, but she only really shines when she’s with Nyanyamo, they are really funny together. Also I really like what’s been done with Nyanyamo design and personality. If I had a top 5 she would definitely be there. Pucchi remains a consistently good character. PPU was there and had more lines than in 4. Please give Agochu her labcoat back.

Overall a fun and solid game, but I have to admit that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would.  Maybe I had too high of expectations. 

A now some trivia: 

1) If you examine the game files it looks like a Buritoba route was considered at some point before being dropped, I didn’t even notice until I read a thread in Japanese Yahoo.

2) If you extract the StringScripts for the game there’s a lot of dialogue for what appears to be a route in which Koucha is possesed by Furikusuku. I couldn’t find any info about this, so please tell me if it was actually implemented in the game.

3) To unlock the Moochasu route you need to go on a date with him before going to Barrieland, then you need to tell Kyuuri or Chihedo that you love her when she confesses, so she connects the inn 1 day earlier. Finally you need to be on the Koucha route so you can go to the inn when you get the wedding ring. Moochasu is inside the bath, give him the ring and you are done. Took me a while to figure how to date him so I hope this helps someone one day.

Hello!

I’m sitting on some bench in the MSP airport drinking a Mighty Mango Naked juice. Just chugged some OJ. And I have a White Mocha from Starbucks within reach. I feel by the time I get to consuming the Starbucks it’ll be lukewarm. and then when i board the plane in 30 minutes i’ll have to pee like a pregnant lady with no time to wait. But we’ll reach that point when we reach that point. (update: my bladder was tested. the minute that ding came on overhead letting you know the plane has reached 10,000 feet i was that person who shot up from their seat. and i can’t wait until we land bc the first stop is the bathroom.)

I should also explain I’m traveling for 3 months (that’s the max because of the whole 90 days without a visa thing) or, whenever my savings hits $0.

i’m shooting for the stars and hoping the 90 days comes before i run out of money.

why tumblr?

a part of me wants to shrug and say idk instead of explaining my thought process. i’m self conscious that it’s too over the top for explaining one’s presence or lack there of on a certain social media app.

why does it matter that much?

yet, i’m still here, proceeding to pour out my entire mind without much of a filter.

my relationship with instagram tends to go as follows: posting stories every day. feel annoying. deactivate my account. feel great. download instagram again. share everything. feel insecure. deactivate instagram.

lately it got worse.

it got worse after i started liking a guy.

i wish i had the patience.

the lack of my patience has come from my insecurities. has come from me not wanting to confront why i’m feeling the way i’m feeling. why i’d rather run away than just wait and see what will happen (which is probably that whole anxious avoidant thing i’ve been labeled with). why, at the first sign of a possible (guys possible) i don’t know what to call it, communication issues (?), i say bye. instead of just, ya know, seeing how life plays out. although, i will give myself credit and say i tried.

and i did feel serious about him. like, he feels like home. this feels right. this feels comfortable. this feels like i can be myself. this feels like someone i want to share life with.

i just gathered after 5 months, serious isn’t what anyone is looking for right now. i even said something along the lines of “i want to feel free” while in europe. so there’s that.

i could be wrong but that’s what i felt.

and, if i did have one thing to be confident in, it is my ability to read emotions & body language. i’m hyper vigilant to other peoples subtle ques. and thus, when in person i picked up on a few things.

at this point, the only information i have is what i’ve been told and what i feel. and as best as I try not to assume, i just have to take what i know and proceed.

i’m just hoping there is an us in the future. that sometime in the future there’s still a possibility.

so…

i like a guy. i post on instagram. i check who’s viewed it. look for one name. cringe at myself. delete the app from my phone. wait 24 hrs until stories expire. search ‘instagram’ in the app store. download the app again.

rinse. repeat.

and that cycle increased in rotation exponentially over the last month. exhausting. really emotionally exhausting. and i hated myself for it every time.

when i got down to the nitty gritty of my emotional psychology as to why i’m in that cycle, I came to the conclusion that i was trying to be seen. and a want to be seen, for me, is an example of outsourcing validation. and the only person who can truly validate me is me.

I also get really insecure about being annoying on instagram. another shadow that needs to be worked through. if someone finds me annoying that’s okay. I don’t need to shrink or hide or not share for fear of what others might think. that’s really on them to control their input of information on social media. not for me to limit who i am as a person for the comfort of others. i’m not in charge of someone else’s comfort. i’m only in charge of my own. as of this point in my life, i am my only priority. and that’s who i want to focus on.

i’ve worked really hard over the past 3 years to get to a balanced & healthy mental space.

the past few months were honestly great because it was a clear mirror to the spaces and places within myself i needed to work through. especially the issues i suppressed for the past 10 years that had resurfaced. and i’ve worked through them (with and without a therapist) and will continue to work through them. i was /am ready to let it all go. and i did, for the most part.

so, with all the above in mind, i’ve been wanting to deactivate my account again but instagram is a wonderful place to connect with my family and friends around the world. i was a bit unsure of what to do.

when i was parting from my friend Katie on the 4th, she said, ‘go crazy with the stories on instagram!’ and my heart sank because i didn’t want to. and she’s not the only person who’s said something along the lines of, ‘i can’t wait to see your stories.’ so when i told her i don’t think i’ll be on instagram she immediately came up with a couple alternatives, ‘what about a tumblr or vsco?!’

i perked up. tumblr.

tumblr i know is an easy space to post all forms of media. i can make it password protected (i mean, i was hoping). and i can’t see who views it (and if there is a feature on here where you can, i don’t wanna know about it).

and so became this tumblr.

i’m excited about it. i can post my lengthy writings in addition to pictures & videos.

and the point of this trip, well, one of the points is to write.

the perfect space.

a space to be 100% me.

and now i’m sitting at JFK really hungry but don’t wanna spend money, 1 hour into my 8.5 hr layover.

College Eren is much nicer overall than High School Eren, I think we can all agree

College Eren is much more ready to admit that he's not ready to be in a relationship with people and instead stays as friends or friends with benefits

Although, that doesn't mean that he doesn't get into relationships. it's just less often than it was in high school.

When he meets you, it's at a party. You were talking to Jean, his old high school rival, when he walked over to mess with his fratmate and introduce himself to you

"(Y/n), don't bother with him," Says Jean, glaring at Eren

"Oh so your name's (Y/n)? I'm Eren Yaeger"

"Oh yeah, the popular frat guy everyone talks about" You'd say

"Oh so you've heard of me?" Eren leans in, batting his eyes in a joking manner

He'll make you laugh, no matter your humor

Obviously would give you his number and offer to get you a drink. Whether or not you allow him to get you one is up to you

After the party, if you text him, he'll start messaging you back

Usually about nonsense. Getting to know each other, each others pasts, whatever

People obviously talk shit about him, but when they know you've become somewhat friendly towards him? OH, all eyes are on you

You'll hear a new rumor every week about him, and it gets to the point where you bring it up to him

If it gets so out of hand, he'll open up about how he was in high school. He doesn't like looking back on it.

It allows him to be vulnerable to you (he hates feeling vulnerable) and allows you both to get closer

Lol my friend is an Armin simp. She's gonna love this one.

Armin 100% studies. He's more intense than Levi is about it

Always studying. Even when sick

Mikasa is the one dragging him to parties and outings to get his head out of the books

Armin likes getting out and being with friends and such, but he's at college to learn, not to party

So, when you capture his eye at a party, he doesn't really think much of it

Until he sees you again in class

He'll introduce himself then ask about the party he saw you at

You'll introduce yourself and begin talking

You'll exchange numbers, and to Mikasa's surprise, you manage to help him get out more

Whenever Armin has tension headaches from studying, he'll call you up and ask you to come over

You'll study together, or you'll bring him some food and medicine, make sure he takes care of his body, especially around midterms or finals

Poor boy gets those tension headaches all the time

One time while trying to feel better, Armin fell asleep in your lap

Mikasa walked in and immediately walked back out

When he woke up, he'd be so flustered that he fell asleep on you in the first place, he wouldn't be able to form a complete sentence if he tried

If you're over when Eren comes to visit, Eren is gonna tease the fuck out of the two of you

To the point where Armin probably kicks him out, he's so embarrassed

Apologizing on Eren's behalf and being a flustered lil baby, you'll have to be the one to calm him down

He'd 100% get your number from Bertholdt or Annie, and would immediately start texting you

Yeah he seems intimidating, but it's only because of how bulky he is. In reality, he's such a sweetheart

I may be projecting here, but how could you not fall in love with this man??

He doesn't even need to be with you to hold your hand to help you across the street, scare off creeps at a party, etc.

He's naturally the big brother type - again, how could you not fall in love with this man???

He feels his chest explode with love and affection whenever he sees you in his bleachers, especially if you're front row

It's a little tradition of yours to make little waves to each other, and whenever he's off the field he'll come up and talk to you for a little bit

He first noticed you most likely when Hange posted about you on social media. You were in their science class and y'all had done some chaotic shit

You were looking through the likes on the post (just cause you were bored) and saw Erwin's profile

You'd seen him around but never knew his name

So, you hit up Hange and asked how they knew this guy

Next thing you knew, you were meeting Hange, Levi, Miche and Erwin for lunch at a local cafe

Levi was a mutual friend of yours and Hange's, but this was your first time meeting Miche and Erwin

Erwin was the last one to show up, but damn if he didn't capture your attention

As mentioned in this previous post, here is the map of the Solar System with its principal stars and respective planets! This does not include distance to scale OR the minor celestial objects such as moons, dwarf planets, and so on. 

Some additional notes:

Binary Stars

Helios - the big star in the binary and the dominant one. Astrophel and the planets revolve around it. It’s known as Sol.

Astrophel - the smaller star in the binary. As far as astronomers know, the orbit between it and Helios is stable, so there’s no immediate threat of stellar collision. It’s known as Phoebus, to differentiate from Sol, as Sol I and Sol II doesn’t seem to roll off the tongue quite well. 

Colloquially, they’re just known as the suns. The formal names depends where you live; in Corona and the Seven Kingdoms, it’s Sol and Phoebus, while in Hellas and Argentum, they’re known as Helios and Astrophel, after the sun god and his son respectively.

Terrestrial Planets

Surtur - the closest and smallest planet of the terrestrials. Tidally locked, one side fries like an egg while the other’s in a deep freeze.

Pallene - speckled by asteroid impacts of ancient times and a barren rocky world. Has two small moons, which are more like chunks of rocks that might’ve been leftover from a planetesimal collision.

Menthe - the first terrestrial to have atmosphere, but that’s not saying much, as it’s a thin wisp covering the planet. Landscape dotted with volcanoes that have long gone extinct. No moons.

Bestla - the first terrestrial to have an substantial atmosphere and stable bodies of water. Life here is very primordial. Think of Proterozoic Earth. Has three small moons.

Cytherea - lush, swampy, very humid. It’s as though the Carboniferous period never ended. Has a ring system from a moon that tore into pieces after coming too close.

Gaia - the largest terrestrial. Lots of complex life and strange anomalies, like humans, live here. It has one moon named Selene. Also known as Terra and Luna. 

Narvi - mostly mountainous and rocky with scattered bodies of water. Life exists here, but not on the same level as Gaia and Cytherea. No moons.

Amalthea - Once a vibrant world, now left high and dry from a double whammy of asteroid bombardment and shift in orbit. One lonesome moon.

Gas Giants

Rhea - the largest gas giant and planet in the Solar System. The original Asteroid Belt was in front of Rhea, until the planet migrated inwards, sweeping the belt clean, ejecting two gas giants out of the system and tearing apart several terrestrial planets before Themisto pulled it back to is current orbit. The remains of those terrestrial planets make up the current one. Has so, so, many moons.

Themisto - the second largest gas giant. Looks like a caramel truffle with mocha stripes. Lots of moons here, with at least eight that are icy on the outside, but water worlds on the inside.

Varuna - powerful windstorms. Do not fly a kite here. 0/10. Two baker’s dozen worth of moons.

Dione - weirdly enough, this giant planet has the same axial tilt of Gaia. And Not Like Other Gas Giants ™, it has no moons.

Ice Giants

Titania - flipped exactly on it side and in turn, all of its moons orbit in that direction.

Larissa - Just your garden-variety ice giant. Nothing special here. (RIP Larissa)

Iapetus - no one knows what Iapetus is, mostly because the last time astronomers checked, it wasn’t there before.

Yimr - coincidentally, the same time Iapetus appeared, the featureless surface of the planet became blemished with strange mold-like blotches.

Ijiraq - Farthest planet from the suns. Beyond it are several dwarf planets and their respective moons.
